Process your leads according to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

LeadHound processes your data according to the Federal Data Privacy Act right out of the box, and will also conform to the General Data Protection Regulation, which will be in force throughout Europe as of May 25th, 2018.

Data security has been important to us right from the start. That’s why we’ve decided to process and digitize captured leads directly on your device.
Data is never uploaded to a cloud or an external server to be digitized there, then transmitted back to your device.

If you used this kind of process, you would need to get permission from your contact to transmit their data to external systems, or even to foreign countries, to be processed there.
According to the new version of the Federal Data Protection Act and the new General Data Protection Regulation, such processes are not permitted without a written consent. Even today, they may result in stiff penalties.
LeadHound also only sends e-mails directly from your device to your system landscape directly via available interfaces.

Written consent for processing personal information.

Another advantage LeadHound offers under the new General Data Protection Regulation is that you can obtain written consent from your lead directly at the trade fair for processing their data for certain purposes using the signature function. Combined with the Apple stylus or any other stylus, LeadHound allows your exhibition contact to sign the survey and edit their personal information right at the trade fair. The digital signature is saved with the digitized contact, or transmitted to your system landscape. This gives you cleanly documented consent, as required by law, right from the start.
